Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data ViralX Studio (“ViralX”, “we”) collects through viralx.in, why we collect it and the choices you have. Questions? Email privacy@viralx.in.
1. What we collect
- Enquiries: name, email, company, launch details and message when you use the contact or launch forms.
- Accounts: name, email, company and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), or your Google profile name and email if you sign in with Google.
- Projects: briefs, reference links and files you submit in the client portal.
- Newsletter: your email address if you subscribe.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, collected in server logs for security and reliability.
2. How we use it
To reply to enquiries, quote and deliver projects, run your account, send the newsletter (only if you opt in), keep the site secure and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Who we share it with
We use service providers who process data on our behalf: hosting (Vercel), authentication and database (Supabase), and email delivery. They may only use data to provide their service to us. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
4. Cookies
We use only essential storage: it keeps you signed in to the client portal. We don’t run advertising cookies. If we add analytics, we’ll ask for your consent first and update this section.
5. Retention
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months. Account and project data is kept while your account is active and deleted on request (see Data deletion). Backups roll off within 30 days.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Email privacy@viralx.in. We respond within 30 days. If you’re in India, your rights are those under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you’re in the EEA or UK, those under the GDPR.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed, and database access is restricted by row-level security so you can only see your own projects. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Changes
We’ll update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
